Mindy Faulkner and Larry Christiansen mind their boats while their helms await their turn in the haul-out line.

No free beer yet for this man!
...

Though he does manage a friendly wave to the photographer in the nice cool breeze of the upper deck.
...

Jack is nearly set to make room for the next boat.
...

Neil Robb (r) gets a helping hand from Al Vorel.
...

Mindy concentrates on the tricky job of paddling her boat to its trailer.
...

Nick supervises as Neil prepares to take the mast down in someone's driveway. They're used to this scenario, I'd imagine.
...

The last outstanding item on our excellent Protest Committee's agenda: the request for redress hearing with Bruce Nowak (r)
...

The Vorels wanted to remember the fine guest mooring they were given for the duration.
...

And we did!
...

Catie is happy with a much improved result in the final race.

A family group shot: Ron Reading with daughter, CeCe (l), and granddaughter, Catie
- not to forget their beloved Rebel Grandpa's Toy.
...

Who wouldn't wear a big grin when flanked by ...
...

... two such lovely ladies. Uncle Al got into this picture so that CeCe can remember the Rat's Ass T-shirt
that Al got from his daughter who judged his attitude fairly accurately.

CeCe and Catie got Ron these lovely shorts at Wal-Mart. Less than a week later, my wife and I were in a Wal-Mart in Parry Sound on Georgian Bay during the Wayfarers' annual cruising/camping week. I remembered those shorts and went to see if I could get them in Canada. Well, the best ones they had left in my size were not quite as eye-catching as Ron's, but while trying them on, I managed to lock myself into the changing cubicle, having not seen the (small) "lock out of order" sign. It took the better part of half an hour before my wife came looking for me with a lovely young lady manager who duly cautioned me to stand on the bench, well away from the door which she then tried to kick in. That didn't work, though not for lack of trying! Another employee finally got the door open with a crowbar, and we were only a little bit late for ...
...

... the day's sailing. Note Uncle Al in his Rebel shirt and new Rebel cap plus of course, the shorts!!
...

While holding up the mast for Grampa, Catie checks to see if Karel (yellow shirt)
is OK after getting bee stings when she nearly sat in a bees' nest near the ramp.
...

All packed up and ready for the trip home.
...

Back at the Breezy, the pre-dinner shave and shower had to wait while Neil talked Rebels with some admirers.
...

And whom should we meet outside our rooms but many of the AYS volunteers who ...
...

... had made this week such a wonderful experience for all of us. Thanks a million, gang!!
