Not surprisingly, Catie Simmons, helming a Rebel for the first time, never mind racing,
ended up as the Junior Nationals "pickle boat", a euphemism for what my Juniors used to call DFL.

Jim Quiniff, youngest helm at this year's Nationals, placed a very respectable 14th overall with crew, Mike Stoodley.
